Cal has a much larger, much more connected, much more engaged sports fan base than Rutgers.

Heck, I am surprised a Cal student or alum hasn't figure out how to hack the voting by now.

I must surmise that no one really cares.

We were down about 10 pts with 400 some-odd votes in. Then we win by 12% on 757 total votes. After that point practically every vote coming in was for Cal.
