Or maybe I should start naming this thread, "Let's Pick if there will be Pac-12 Games." Anyway, I have fun doing this and hope it provides a bit of levity. Last week my season got off to an appropriate 2020 start as I went 1-3-2. The last number is for Plague 2, Pac-12 0. Here's the link to last week: https://bearinsider.com/forums/2/topics/98610 As always, odds are for the home team with my pick in italics.

Cal @ bRuins +2.5: Cal's DL in quarantine and unable to practice. bRuins are at home and have a game under their belt. However, Song stealers can score but on defense couldn't stop a crawling midget.Taking Cal to beat the spread.

Mormon Marauders @ bRuins: Not happening. Plague outscores those polite missionaries.

U$C @ Mildcats +14: Cheaters not that impressive in opener. Spread is too high. Kittens beat the spread.

Rubber Duckies @ Wazzoo +10: Quackups are pretty good but Puddytats have enough to beat the spread.

River Rats @ Mutts -13.5: Do the butt sniffers have a QB yet? They'll trot someone out but Rodents come up with enough points to beat the spread.

Colorado @ Furd -6.5: Ralphie thinks Furd's turf could benefit from some bison sized deposits. Cardboard cutouts in Circus Minimus generate more noise than the people they represent. Taking Buffs to beat the spread.

Cal @ Spawn of Satan -4.5: Cal's DL in quarantine and unable to practice. Devil's Rejects are at home. So for no reason whatsoever taking Cal to beat the spread and pull out a close game.

Mormon Marauders @ bRuins +3.5: Song stealers can score but on defense couldn't stop a crawling midget. Taking the missionaries to cover.

U$C @ Mildcats +14: Cheaters not that impressive in opener. Spread is too high. Kittens beat the spread.

I'm tied with the plague 2-2-2.

ASU but I don't see the game happening

Utah with the assumption they get a lot of folks back.

USC

Mutts

Buffs vs Furd Is hard to pick. Shenualt in back. Mills? Going with Buffs, but if Mills is playing reserve right to change mind.

Texas, you might get more action if you also have picks and odds about even playing.

In any event, as revised:

Mutts
USC
Cal beats UCLA (not doing a spread if there even is one)
Furd with Mills, who apparently was improperly held out of the Ducks game by the Pac (thanks for the apology Pac) playing.

FWIW, two thumbs up to the PAC for making a lot of the Cal UCLA game happen.

Be safe and healthy everyone.

Last week I went 3-1-2, so ideally I should stop now, but this is fun, so ...

Cal @ UCLA: The Bruins looked pretty weak against an unimpressive Colorado squad. Cal to win and cover.

USC @ Arizona: The Trojans look like they'll be pretty good this year, while Arizona remains a total enigma. But since the Wildcats weren't much last year, I'll simply go with the favorites: USC.

Oregon @ WSU: This is a tough one- Oregon looked pretty good last week, while WSU came out on top over the favored OSU. WSU had a lot of players out in the OSU game, including RB Max Borghi. I'm not positive, but I think he may be back for this game. So I'm letting my emotions help go with WSU to beat the spread.

OSU @ UW: The Beavers are supposed to be better this year, but I didn't see much evidence of this last week, Washington to win and cover.

Colorado @ Stanford: The Cardinal gets David Mills back, and I think that is enough to get them to win and cover.

LOL. I'm sure internally they are pissed, but they have not had any public response that I'm aware. When you finally don't have to hear that horrible band, you can't go to the game. Seems unfair.

For what it's worth, the Buffs are 2-0 and beat Furd. Maybe Furd isn't that good but also, maybe Colorado isn't bad.
