Sadly, Ken McAllister, an outstanding Cal defensive back from the 1970s, passed away on Sunday, December 20.

Oh no, he was much too young. Saw him around a lot during my time at Cal.

RIP Ken. Go Bears!

Just watched the Joe Roth documentary again recently, and was looking up some of those Cal names from the 1970s. Came to realize that Joe's then-girlfriend, Tracy Lagos, later married Ken McAllister. Googled 'Ken McAllister Cal football' and this message board thread came up.

Anyone know what the heck happened to Ken McAllister? He was a 1978 Cal grad, so he would have only been about 64 years old when he passed away in December 2020. Can't find anything online except for this thread.

He was in same class as me. Saw him play every game, went to same party's, etc... RIP Ken.
