I think Grant's weight (and strength?) loss while he was out cought up to him. He just didn't look like the same player in either game in Arizona. I also think Bradley appreciated the passing that the team relied on while he was out, and came back deterimed to look to pass and not just look to shoot. Unfortunately, he is (at least for now) a much better shooter than passer. I still want him to work on his passing. If he can learn to dish, he will be a more effective player.
I understand that's the general viewpoint about Bradley, but I actually have always seen him as a willing and deft passer (different from assist volume). It's one of the reasons I have such a high opinion of his overall game. I realize I'm probably in the minority on that, and the stats, such as they are, don't support my position. I think this season has been a really weird one for him, starting with Foreman acting like Don Coleman the first couple games. And then the injuries.
I'm personally not bothered by how much passing MB is it is not doing right now. Considering how much Cal needs him to score, I don't feel like I see an inordinate number of bad shots from him.
Again, I think cal has had no ability yet this season to play in a rotation rhythm as a team for any stretch until now. I think they're there now and I'm looking forward to seeing how they look in these furd games and for the remaining stretch.
