Wazzu can absolutely get hot from long-range, but this is a bit ridiculous. Gotta think they'll have a hard regression to the mean at some point.MoragaBear said:

Bradley has 5 now. He didn't start because he was out sick this week.
D is atrocious tonight.

Get it under 10 at the half, play much tighter perimeter D and take care of the ball better in the 2nd half to have a chance.

it is hard to stay tuned. If I'm Fox I'd consider starting the bench players in the second half!

Though we have a whole 2nd half to play, it is hard to imagine we come back from this. We'd have to score 50 again like we did against Utah and hold them under 28. Possible? Maybe. Likely? No.Bisonbob said:

When one guy scores 2 points less than your whole team it doesn't usually end well. At the half he has a career high 24 points as well as 3 rebounds. 4 assists, and 2 steals.HoopDreams said:

To beat their zone, you need to pass to a player on the free throw line, who can pass or shoot from that spot. We repeatedly got good passes to that player, and they were all "good" shooters, yet no one could make the shot. That, added to the array of ticky-tack fouls being called, added to our lack of energy, resulted in the half time score.
And it appears nothing has changed.

Even if we shot 50%, we'd only have 6-9 more points. We aren't hustling. They are winning every 50-50 ball because we are standing around watching. We are playing defense with our hands, not our feet. We aren't going for rebounds unless they come right to us. We just didn't come to play.
And Bradley now has 4 fouls
