[for women's hoops] 4 season tickets for a party of 2 yields spare space (most of the time) on both endsBearprof said:
I wonder whether they are considering requiring us to space from neighboring folks ( I know attendance will be low, but there may be other ticket holders in adjacent seats).
No doubt it will be easy to socially distance at the Sac State game . . .KoreAmBear said:
Will football games be at full capacity and without masks because outdoors?

I have to use a bullhorn to talk to the closest person sitting by me even at PAC 12 games.
*They also announced that seating capacity for any NIT game will be limited to 750 (which allows for a 200 seating capacity cushion over historical attendance numbers)
That doesn't mean they will actually allow fans to go.SonomanA1 said:
I just got an email to buy tickets for volleyball so they are going ahead with that.
They sold basketball tickets last year pretty much knowing no one could go. " Oh well, we will apply it to next year" Same with football.oskidunker said:That doesn't mean they will actually allow fans to go.SonomanA1 said:

Last year, I paid for football with assurances that they would roll over for this season (which they did). For basketball, I refused to pay since it was much more expensive and at that point it looked more likely there would be no season. They politely requested a $100 deposit for this season, which I obliged - although I've now decided not to renew basketball.oskidunker said:They sold basketball tickets last year pretty much knowing no one could go. To watch him coach? I think more Cal fans are worried about if the temp is below 75, and if the game is starting later than 4p....calumnus said:HearstMining said:No doubt it will be easy to socially distance at the Sac State game . . .KoreAmBear said:

Wonder how much they will play up HC Troy Taylor?
I don't care about the temperature. However the smoke is starting a month early. Smells like a nice campfire or a Top Dog BBQmbBear said:To watch him coach? I meant, how is Cal marketing the game? You know, trying to get fans to buy tickets and show up? What is compelling about the matchup with Sac State for Cal fans?
I'd think most casual Cal fans (marginal ticket buyers) are not aware Troy Taylor is Sac State's HC. I'm not sure how compelling that is, but I can't think of much else to promote.
I wonder what kind of promotions the AD will come up with to get the attendance up to 5,000?oskidunker said:
