Supposedly, Kim Jong Un used to be QUITE a player, holding the national (any level) single-game scoring record of 200 points. As legend from that game has it, his team was trailing 215-208 with only seconds remaining, when KJU got a defensive rebound, went coast to coast, TOOK OFF FROM THE TOP OF THE KEY and made the 8-pt slam dunk to win the game, 216-215.
A former North Korean sportswriter told a slightly different version of the story, in which KJU's team was actually behind 215-205 and, after the amazing dunk that ended the game, the officials decided to award KJU and his team eleven points (8 for being at the end of the game, plus 3 for it being a slam dunk) and that was actually how his team won. That has been hard to verify, however, as locating the sportswriter has been problematic.
