Seton Hall has a good tradition in basketball and is a decent to sometimes very good program. The old Big East was the best, toughest and most entertaining conference in the country back in the old days. Hyper competitive.

Antivich has got to at least try to get open instead of running clock. He is doing nothing, again. Every time we play a de cent team he goes away.

Seton Hall looks horrible. Making Cal look like a great shooting team.

And it's not because of Cal's defense.

Most passes in our offense are to stationary players which are easy to defend and difficult to make. This also makes it difficult for the player catching the ball to then do something with it as they are starting from a dead stop. This means there is very little motion off the ball. When we do catch it with movement, we are catching it while running away from the basket. I hope Fox figues out a way to change that, especially since we aren't a strong 3 point shooting team.

I think this is why Fox uses the dribble hand off offense. To create motion. Unfortunately, other than Brown, and maybe Shepherd, we are unable to turn the corner on defenders as we aren't THAT good at handling the ball.

It all comes down to a lack of skills. We need to improve our shooting, ball handling and passing in general. That rarely happens during the season so we are what we are.

Defensively, we can be a decent team as we do have some length. We are fortunate that Seton Hall isn't a great 3 point shooting team (at least in the 1st half) and aren't super athletic to take us off the bounce.

The tempo currently favors us.

Sam's gotta shoot that when he is open from 3. He didn't have his feet ready when he caught the ball.

The offense is a cluster. We aren't getting any good open looks. Our screens are completely ineffective because we aren't screening anyone. The player using the screen doesn't properly set up the defender to run into the screen. Our screener isn't rolling to the hoop after. Other the the guy with the ball and the guy setting the on ball screen, no one is moving. That is OK if the other 3 guys are standing outside of the 3 point line and are great catch and shoot 3 point shooters but we don't have that. We need movement by all 5 guys.

We're amazingly up by one.

We have too many possessions where we are throwing up a shot at the shot clock buzzer. When we get the switch between Brown's defender and Kelly's defender, we have to get the ball to Andre. That is inexcusable.

We aren't playing well and still up 1. Frustrating. We could easily be up 5-10 points if we played a little smarter.

A 7 footer with a stronger lower body so he can move better and be a solid defender and rebounder, and can score a little around the basket when setup in the low block

He's also valuable as he has the size to match up with true centers

Shepherd is a turnover machine too. Not very bright playing for a senior. KK getting abused on defense. He needs to sit.

Yeah, our offense is not working, and when the defense is playing in your grill you need to get separation with a dribble and drive hard… they will foul you
