We got it to 4 and then they ran off 5 points in seconds

Mobiley, Peterson and Boogie…. Tough to defend all 3

They probably penetrate better than any team in the nation. With their length, they're hard to defend in the post. When you have bigs that can handle the ball well it makes it tough on less athletic teams like Cal .

There is no shame in this game. We don't have the artillery of # 7. They have a few NBA players there and a good coach.

Bears played a legit # 7 tough. Well done. Petersen reminds me of the first time I saw Brent Barry as a Beaver. After a couple of minutes of viewing you think: complete package.

Excellent effort. Though it didn't happen tonight, there will be a couple of games this season in which a really good team is having an off night and the Bears will scratch out a W.

yeah, not to mention his long range shooting too

but the player who really is herky jerky is Peterson, although he would often drag his pivot foot when doing that

I hate it when players do that herky jerky thing, and then step through and under hands the shot... seems so undignified for a D1 basketball player, but it's so hard to defend when that same player can step back, or hit that fade away shot, and he can certainly do that

Alajiki was dressed (at least in the first half), but had an ice bag on his knee, as if something happened in warm-ups.

This was a game we could've won, if we had gotten a few rolls and defended the paint a little better. But we didn't and U$C has better players, so...

Still, we didn't play poorly.

Why didn't we press harder in the last 2 minutes? Maybe force a TO, maybe USC misses a free throw. Don't let them run off 29 seconds then get a good shot.

I was there-they had a height advantage plus a quickness advantage plus a big edge in "hops". We played very well considering how "out athleted" we were.
