Happy for him, and surprised that there were a few detractors of his play, sacrifice and effort he gave our teams. The team misses him clearly. Yes the team is playing better than last season, but not a fair comparision, as the key players have gained strength, conditioning improvement and additional experience. Those factors along with increased depth, have positively impacted this year's team. Matt regularly checks in to see how his guys are doing and supports them.

His freshman year we beat then #25 UW and his Sophomore year we beat then #21 Colorado, though neither were really "elite."
