Anyone else notice Brown dogging it down the court after another Bruin fastbreak? Fox immediately called a timeout and Joel never saw the floor again.

Wow. A Bradley redux?

Brown plays only 19 minutes?

Grant plays only 19 minutes and gets a goose egg?

Kelly has 6 points?

Is Fox losing his best players?

Not sure what actually lead to the Bradly situation, but when I saw Brown jogging back on the fast break right in front of the Cal Bench I knew Fox wasn't going to be happy. He very well may have earned that pine time.

Nobody seemed to be exactly "going for broke" last night. Whatever ends up happening with Fox, I want us to get every win we can get and I always want to see the seniors finish strongly.

For next year, I want to see Brown and Hyder continue to improve and refine their games. (I know folks aren't too high on Hyder, but the announcers last night mentioned again that he is still hampered by an injury. Maybe he could still eventually end up giving us decent minutes.)

Brown got benched, but Fox sat his starters for a lot of the second half

Maybe several motivations… send a message about defense and hustle, give some prime time minutes to the bench since the game was over, rest his troops for another battle

Always tough to go through a losing streak, especially betting blown out several times

I think Fox took the opportunity to give minutes to guys that were going to hustle since Cal wasn't ever going to win the game anyway. Good that Roberson got some experience. Hyder too, I suppose.
