I still don't know how we beat a good team by 14 with just 5 assists but 17 turnovers. We scored more than in any game except our first against LA State.

also, although oregon played bad vs colorado in that game, near the end they started forcing turnovers and scoring on steals, fast breaks and 3s to win the game
I was waiting for that barrage to come in this came, but Bears maintained their poise and it never happened
That dunk by Shepherd to end the half was special. CAL usually ends the half with a bad shot. that was emphatic!
Best game CAL has played all year. Didn't even entertain the thought of a road sweep. what a nice surprise. It also makes it much more fun to visit the board after a few wins. Much fever depression posts and even a little sunshine.

That 24-0 run in the 1st half was amazing! Went from 12-5 Ducks to 29-12 Bears. Ducks had their wings clipped for a LONG stretch! Also amazing was that Cal kept it together afterwards till the final buzzer! Great win!

Regarding Lars, one of my favorite things as a Cal Basketball fan is when one of our players keeps making incremental progress over four years (hoping Lars takes that final step forward next season... and I expect him to.).

LOL. Vanover, no question, through this season. But he'd be a senior this year and Lars is a junior, so next year I'm guessing Lars will be a lot more productive than would a graduated Vanover.
