UofA gets a 1 seed, UCLA a 4 abd USC a 7. I think UCLA is somewhat underrated at a 4.

Congrats to Cal alum Matt Bradly who will participate in his first post-season play with 7th seed SDSU.

SDSU is a #8 seed playing in the 8/9 game v. Creighton. If they win they would likely face #1 seed Kansas. Since we have no one to root for I'll be rooting for Matt to make the second week. I would root for Vanover too if he ever played.

He made a good college career move. With his game, I think he would need to be 6'7 to make it in the NBA. He will make decent money playing abroad. Your thoughts?

PAC 12 will do very well, in my opinion.
I think Zona heads to the final four.
I think $c has a draw that allows them to go deep. Elite eight or better.
fucla wins first two games.

Once upon a time, the Pac-12 was head and shoulders above any other conference with west coast teams. This year, the WCC is close to even, same number of bids as the Pac-12, with a #1 seed (the overall top seed), a #5 and a #10, versus the Pac-12 #1 overall, a #4 and a #7. And the Mountain West had the most teams of any western conference, even if the teams are not as strong as the Pac-12 or WCC, with a #6, two #8's, and a #12 in a play-in game.

There is a potential second round Pac-12-WCC match-up between UCLA and St. Mary's. UCLA got smacked pretty badly by Gonzaga in the non-conference season, if the UCLA-SMC game happens, it sure would be good for the conference to get a win there (even if I have trouble rooting for it).

Sorry, assuming both win their first round games, I will be heartily cheering for the Gaels to kick some Bruin butt!

No apologies needed, when I say I have trouble rooting for it, I mean there is no way in hell I'll be rooting for it. Aside from my dislike for the Bruins, the Gaels are my second favorite college basketball team, and I'm sure glad Cal beat Stanford back on 2/26, or I would have REALLY regretted turning down tickets to the SMC-Gonzaga game in order to go to Haas (instead of regretting it only a little).

I can't root for it, but a Bruin win over SMC would be good for the conference.
