Yes, I'm joking, but does Deschon Winston still have his COVID year? He can probably make his free throws, his talent level meshes with our current roster and it would tie up a lot of loose ends.

This was so depressing (even if said jokingly) that I just threw up a little in my mouth. We've come down to some fans wanting a less than average guy we kicked off of a bad team to come back to "tie up the loose ends" on an even lesser talented team.

Cal athletics, I'm afraid, has thrown in the towel. Knowlton and Christ - please resign as a tandem. Those who think Carol is supportive of football and basketball need to take a closer look at what is going on. The optics ain't great.

I don't know how supportive Chancellor Christ is with football and basketball, but she seems like a real good Chancellor for the University. I'd keep her.

The chancellor who steered us to the #2 public uni in the US?

Athletically or academically, the optics are not great for what should be without question, a top 5 uni public or private. We just need better administrators and marketers.

I've said this before but I think the solution is simple. By most accounts Christ and Knowlton are doing well with the other aspects of their jobs. Keep Christ. Keep Knowlton but take FB and MBB off his desk. Somebody other than Christ or Knowlton hire a competent, semi-autonomous Revenue Sports Coordinator.
