Yep that would have cut it to 3, instead they go up 8.

Askew looks like the real deal though. At least against a mid-major.

Cal is 18-36 at the first time out - and UCD is 18-40.
Davis has two more threes and two more made free throws.

Yes, I think we can all agree that Askew appears to be a guard upgrade for Bears.

Looks like he could be a little more physical than Jordan Shepherd.

So what is the point of Brown and Askew on the court at the same time if Askew is playing PG?

Askew has that C.J. Elleby herky jerky ball handling style that makes him difficult to guard. He has a high motor.

A Michael Bloomfield of the court, so to speak.

I like Newell's shot. Man Bowser three years in, still looks raw. Kuany also still looks raw even though he can make some shots.

What I do like about Lars is that when there are guys that are undersized around him near the rim, he knows he can take his time and make a strong move to the basket as no one will block him.

Askew reminds me of Justin Cobbs. High energy, good (but not great) athlete, savy player who makes a lot of smart plays and generates offense that way rather than sheer skill.

Basically we are superior athletically and with height. They are more skilled. Pretty even matchup. Which is going to make it tough to win P12 games.
