Agreed. There was nothing like Harmon Gym
Right - the good ol' days when the program was mediocre.

They're not dogshizz but they are undersized and a Power 5 team with athleticism and physicality should be running them out of the gym.BadNewsBear1 said:At least we could freaking blow out dog**** teams like Davis.Econ141 said:BadNewsBear1 said:Amen.sonofabear51 said:

Yes--we should all be overjoyed that we are within 5 of the mighty Aggies.Big C said:
41-36 Aggies, at the half. Geez, people sound a bit negative tonight. Let's crush 'em in the 2nd half, Bears!!

The lack of boxing out/rebounding is embarrassing. I thought Fox was into fundamentals?BadNewsBear1 said:Tomato/tomatoKoreAmBear said:They're not dogshizz but they are undersized and a Power 5 team with athleticism and physicality should be running them out of the gym.BadNewsBear1 said:At least we could freaking blow out dog**** teams like Davis.Econ141 said:BadNewsBear1 said:Amen.sonofabear51 said:

Not finding out just now......just get pissed when the actual season starts after trying to forget what a joke Fox is.Big C said:BadNewsBear1 said:Yes--we should all be overjoyed that we are within 5 of the mighty Aggies.Big C said:

We've sucked for five years and it's like some people are just finding out now.
Dude, I am numbed to this s***.
It's unfortunate we have to depend on Lars for points and touches --- a few OK but not as go to guy. We can't have the ball go to him too much his hands are just not strong. Hands are kind of genetic you have them or you don't.ncbears said:
Cal has lost 4 of its last five season openers? smh

How does Joel Brown play like this yet again. He needs to have an offensive game. Looks like Askew is our only skilled offensive player.
Yep that would have cut it to 3, instead they go up 8.ncbears said:and then UCD comes down for the open 3....KoreAmBear said:

Looks like he could be a little more physical than Jordan Shepherd.bearister said:KoreAmBear said:

Yes, I think we can all agree that Askew appears to be a guard upgrade for Bears.
But he has been bringing up the ball pretty much which he's done a great job of.MoragaBear said:
Askew's a combo guard. He plays off the ball a lot.
Good comparison. A little taller.BearGoggles said:
Askew reminds me of Justin Cobbs. High energy, good (but not great) athlete, savy player who makes a lot of smart plays and generates offense that way rather than sheer skill.
Basically we are superior athletically and with height. They are more skilled. Pretty even matchup. Which is going to make it tough to win P12 games.calgldnbear said:
