Sam has really regressed this year.

Roberson and Bowser. Man they are really struggling.

I say play some Wrenn Robinson.

Lars -- man, even though he is one of our better players offensively, the fundamentals and instincts just not there. Saw him give up baseline and the big just spun and got an easy look. A Butler guy had Newell on his hip down the lane and no rotation from Lars for like 2-3 seconds. Rebounds bounce off his hands. He had a 2 footer but let a guard bother him. Just hard to watch. Good kid though.

Well there was a nice stretch there for a little bit between Askew and Newell.

At the half we have 2 assists. Both by Thiemann.

I'm not sure Sam has regressed, so much as he hit a few threes and had a dunk or two early last season and our expectations got away from us. He is not, at this point in his career, a guy who plays winning basketball and, unfortunately, players don't usually develop much in the current program.

Askew, having missed the last game, has to take the 20 or so shots he didn't get to take against Eastern Washington. Almost impossible to work assists in there, too.

Maybe at the end of the game the seagulls will sh@it on the fans like they used to do at the end of a Raider game….which was always the cherry on top for a losing effort.

Why doesn't Lars (and pretty much all of our guys) seal the closest opponent on defensive rebounds? They stand there like the ball is going to come right to them. *sigh*

Any Bear having a strong game is also on the path to the portal.

Butler has 30 points in the paint. Newell has a career high 15.

Our vaunted defense is giving up 59% shooting, even with Butler hitting only 3 of 13 threes.

Are there any seagulls in the Haas?

I think he rolled Steve Lavin by at least 50 once.

How about about a sit out for the Furd game 1/6? Maybe if Knowlton sees that the crowd is less than 100 and just family members and staff, he may be forced to say something?
