This game reminds me of when I played CYO at St. Paschal's and we would play the Mike Phelp's coached St. Leo's team. If cutting had been a thing in the mid 1960's, I would have done it when I got home.

How on earth can Fix look at himself in the mirror…..he's letting everyone down except his bank account. He'll never be able to recruit a decent player ever again, he's lost the support of the alumni. Knowlton is just as bad.

I have to say Grant has really hit a wall. Nothing he does is working anymore. The pain of being a freshman and asked to be one of the dudes.
Say what you will about Bill Walton (and many will), but this is exactly who you want doing a game like this: I'm almost sitting here feeling sentimental and nostalgic about Cal, as opposed to being embarrassed.
It wasn't until recent decades that I knew that he actually liked Cal/Berkeley.

So the mythical fully healthy and compliant version of this Fox team loses this game by what, only 20? I hate Fox and Knowlton so much.
I figured this was the least likely game we'd win all season, but ucla has completely shut us down
