1. go right at Mouhamed Gueye at every opportunity, even if he blocks many of our shots. If he stays on the court, then we will not win this game. However, when he's off the court, Cal > WSU on a neutral court

2. coach should allow Cal to play faster. Cal plays better when they attack and run compared to when they slow it down and then have to jack up a shot as the clock winds down.

3. let seniors Brown and 2K be particularly aggressive. It's win or go home for them, and I like their recently found urgency.

4. Last game vs WSU, Lars was out and coach was forced to play undersized Obinna vs Gueye. But to my surprise Obinna locked him down. If Lars can't defend Gueye, than Cal should put in Obinna early and often

Agree 100% about not running clock. Kuany has a decent shot: Let it fly! Maybe this would be the occasional game that Sam gets hot: Let it fly! Then go into Lars or ND, after things loosen up. We've been doing it bass ackwards. Play like we have nothing to lose... because we don't!

one thing to watch when I say Bears need to aggressive, is WSU players are coached to hunt for charges and flop

it didn't work against us in last game because a ref called 2 flops, but others refs rarely make those calls

with no fouls on gueye in first half he can be as aggressive as he wants. could get ugly in the paint. amazing he needs to be a 3 in NBA

neither Lars or Okofor pass well when they get ball in low block. they always try to score despite double teams

cal not winning on any stat except steals

Watching this - yes we have had injuries since day 1. But there is zero improvement since day 1 as well.

Please God (aka Christ), put me out of my misery. I freaking can't help watching this team but I have to turn it off every so often because I can't just keep watching hot garbage. We were stuck at like 11 points for 10 minutes

Question: I turned on the last 1:30 of the first half and saw the WSU player blow by KK for a layup. Why is Cal victimized by back door cuts?
Answer: Because they never practice against it because Fox apparently does not coach his players to cut back-door on an overplaying defender.
