googgles, chris mack has recruited 2.5 gpa ballers his entire career plus his wife does not want to live on the left coast, no way he wouldn't be the riskiest hire of the guys you mention

stan johnson & rodney terry got zero connections to berkeley which means fundraising for the practice facility & nil dollars for the players starts from scratch which will be tough to do because they won''t have a point guard next season like ajay mitchell which means another 20+ loss season in berkeley...can they save the recruiting class of brown & curtis, who knows?...that's kinda risky

amir is the only one with upside if shareef & jaylen brown (whose next nba contract will likely be the nba max contract for $290,000,000) become actively involved in supporting the program...but losing 20+ games without a point guard will ensure an empty haas again next season

the only candidate that got more upside is dennis gates who is gonna tell the con artist when he contacts him that he recommends joe pasternack...but joe is not an "easy" choice when you got an incompetent athletic director that extended the worst coach in the nation for another financially obligated year & knows that chancellor christ is working against him now, to say he is obstinate would be kind

joe pasternack's wife lindsay wants to return home to the bay area, there is absolutely zero chance joe pastrnack won't accept an offer to what he considers a "dream job"

this really isn't that complicated

Cal's record next year is not a huge factor for me. Best case is not sucking, with Fox having set a very low bar for improvement. I want a guy who eventually will win Pac12 championships and make the tourney every year. Next year is just a blip.

Even if what you say about JP bringing players is true, it doesn't mean that other coaches wouldn't also attract players, not to mention the impact of a well funded NIL program. Whoever the hire is - JP or otherwise - the most important thing is that key donors are on board for NIL and have extracted firm commitments from the AD.

we'll most likely abandon our many decades held m/w season tickets, because..
1. men's head coach
2. pathetic athletic director
3. allergic to unmasked fans # covid sucks
4. traffic (from cupertino)
5. worsening senior moment issues
So exactly how long do you propose we wear masks? I don't wear one unless required, neither does anyone else around me. I am fine with that.
Go Bears!

got it OD, fine -> was 'splaining reasons we're fading. the plan is to drop season tickets and mask up in nosebleeds the few times we're there, until (pray to oski) they're not empty anymore.
# things change
muting more than 300 handles, turnaround is fair play

I'm triggered by discussions about triggers.

Bozeman was a good recruiter, legally and illegally. He had an eye for talent, ergo some NBA scouting work. Kidd coached the team from the floor. The extent of his X's and 0's was "2 baskets and a ball….and some really f@ucking good players."Getting Jelani hurt the team. He was horrible.
I don't know, Bearister. That Gardner kid could really bounce the ball pretty high.

One doctor opined that he has an increased risk of CTE from repeated basketball smashes to his chin.

Shocky, did Lindsay go to Cal? I know the story is Joe asked Roxy for permission to ask her out.

Looking in the rafters at Haas gets me brooding.

First, the lack of conference titles. There were only 8 or 10 or 12 teams in the Pac-X league. Over the last 60 years, Cal should have ten regular season or tournament title banners.

Second, why is Grigsby's number retired ? The other retired jerseys are warranted - Kevin Johnson, Darrell Imhoff and Jason Kidd are HOF players. At the time, the decision to retire Grigsby's jersey seemed to be mostly sympathy for his many injuries over six seasons. Grigsby averaged 8 points and 5 rebounds over 102 games. He did not have as good of a career as Phil Chenier or Lampley or Shareef or Lamond Murray or Leon Powe.

roxy & lindsay went to pinewood hs in los altos, she graduated from the university of arizona

that's a funny story, they are all tight & to the best within the scope of his professional duties fully expect our favorite gameday broadcaster to work behind the scenes with major donors that luv him to fundraise for the men's basketball program

connecting all the dots#

Are they going to retire the clipboards of Mark Fox and Wyking Jones? 16 consecutive losses is serious HOF sh@it.
