12. Cal: The dreary season and coaching change have predictably resulted in a slew of players entering the portal, including Lars Thiemann and Kuany Kuany (but not Devin Askew, so far). Given the talent level, that's not necessarily a bad thing for first-year coach Mark Madsen as he attempts to overhaul the roster. But to what extent will Cal's admissions bar allow Madsen to restock with enough players to push the program out of the cellar?

How could they not mention Joel Brown?

Anderson has signed a LOI with Colorado. Would need Colorado to release him, which is very unlikely IMO.

Pure speculation on my part. Maybe the Madsen hire piqued his interest. Plays for same AAU program as Brown and Curtis. Flips happen this time of year.

Some would say he was prophetic as he avoided the Wyking-Fox trauma at Haas.

What he signed up for didn't prove to be a causal stroll in the park. Yet here he is back in the portal looking for another dip thinking this time he will swim in calm waters.

In the transfer portal it shows 4 Stanford players: Ingram, O'Connell, Silva, and Moss. With their other grad student Jones/and seniors gone how competitive will they be ?Also a previous Cal recruit Brennan is the portal.

Tyrin Lawrence 6'4 G out of Vanderbilt. Cal was in his Top 3 out of HS I believe. Gotta believe we're in a good position having just added Adam Mazarei as out top assistant coach who spent the last 5 years at Vandy.
