With the portal transfers, new freshmen, and current Cal roster players, any predictions on a starting line-up for next year and team for next year?

I'm waiting to see who else we add.

Still have two open roster spots so it's tbd. Jaylon Tyson is predicted to us but I won't count those chickens before they hatch. So the lineup very much depends on who fills the last two spots because that could be 40% of our starters or a starter and key backup, etc.

With the current rosters make up, I'd prefer a Jaylon Tyson if I could have just one. I think our current bigs will do just fine. Save that last one for a surprise last minute entry.

Realistically, though, what are the chances that we can get 2/3? I expect 1, if that. How many times have we gotten our hopes up only to be dashed. We may have a new, high octane, highly motivated coach, but this is still Cal. I know there is a lot of optimism, but is there enough money behind it to bring in Bandaogo and one of the other two? Can't remember which mod said it, but more needed to be raised a week ago. And Tyson seems less likely to be here every day.

I really feel we need a Steph Curry type. You know, a point guard who can shoot... and can drop 50 on 'em in a do-or-die game (like we will have six of in next year's March Madness).

Without appearing overly optimistic, I feel like that's where our shopping list should be focusing on right now...

You are so right! It is, but knowing what could potentially come in in addition, it feels…. Not quite enough. After I posted this I was kind of embarrassed by it because compared to the last few years, it's an embarrassment of riches.

Note he is appealing the decision. Will the NCAA suddenly find a backbone? We'll see.
