Make sense. We got a bunch of plan A guys already that probably dried up NIL, and I think we could use a situational big man with only two players on the roster over 6'10.parentswerebears said:
It seems like the staff is going to plan B for the last scholarship. Verbal commits shows a 7 ft big juco player getting an offer.
Nice catch PWB.parentswerebears said:

How about an Alumni game? Fox had no interest.oskidunker said:
He has better moves and defense than Lars.
That would be nice, but Cal usually has had only one player over 6-10 on the roster over the years. Several years we have had no one over 6-10 at all. You have to go back to 2016 for more than 2 over 6-10, with Rooks, KO, and Rabb. The most we ever had was in 2002, with 4 - Sampson, Tamir, Solomon Hughes and Gabe Hughes. After 4 years of watching Lars develop ever so slowly, I'd be really happy if we have just one player over 6-10 who can play the game, and an offense where the starting five can stay healthy enough to suit up for most every game. Anything more that that would outstanding, considering what we have been through as fans for 7-8 years.PtownBear1 said:Make sense. To be eligible in 2023 he'd have to have been a full qualifier out of high schoolBC Calfan said:Nice catch PWB.parentswerebears said:

According to VC, we have offered Noah Boyed, a 7'0 Center from Saint Lucia that played at McCook CC in Nebraska last year.

If Madsen & Staff see a developing Aziz Bandaogo type of player then I would prefer him over a one-year rental like Chandler Lawson. Not that impressed by Lawson's stats or highlights but maybe he would be a good glue guy.
