On leave to work for Samsung to help with their AI development. Very nice. Incredible he has time to go to college and play basketball.

I guess "Vladimir Pavlovic", in some Eastern European countries, is like John Williams here, where you need to have one nicknamed "Hot Rod" and another be "Hot Plate" and a third be "Movie Soundtrack Composer".

Samsung is under an investigation and recall for horrible refrigerator. There is a thread on facebook for this. Evidently they outsourced everything which has resulted in failures of the ice makers. Cust service is crap. Its an interesting read, if you have time.

Big influx of Euros coming into the league this season. Arizona and UCLA both have multiple European players in their 2023 classes.I think NIL being part of college basketball now has removed some of the old eligibilty obstacles and the NCAA is no longer that worried that most of these kids played for pro clubs in Europe.

Europe has a pretty deep talent pool and many of these kids are grounded in fundamentals and have been well coached. I hope Madsen plans to visit the Continent more for recruiting in the future.

Interesting comparison, what with the strength, getting to the rim, the passing and (hopefully) an emerging outside shot. Sarunas was a great, great player: Super strong, with skills. Was just hitting his NBA stride with the Warriors when he got that injury.
