How do we look physically for this season?

Height/length, as well as speed

Lost some tall guys but looking at the roster it seems like we have more than adequate length. curious as to how we'll play small or big lineups. also curious how fast we'll play. loved that Madsen had his guys scoring whenever the opportunity arose, as opposed to holding the ball and chucking up a shot at the end (sorry i'll stop before this gets moved to the Mark Fox venting tent)

Any thoughts on the physical attributes of the lineup?

With Aimaq and Okafor at the 5, we are okay for size there.

Who ever pairs with those two, as sort of a 4, is a little small (Newell or Tyson?), but I don't see that as being a huge concern. Well, maybe depending on the opponent.

The wings have plenty of size.

A challenge I see is the guard that pairs with Cone is going to need to compliment his size and skill set... at both ends of the court.

Madsen has done an amazing job of revamping the roster. I see a "floor" of .500 overall and a "ceiling" of maybe squeaking into March Madness. IMO, our biggest concern is going to be the players all meshing -- again, both ends of the court -- finding players to facilitate for others and developing a couple of "go to" guys.

i think that's a great breakdown. also agreed on the floor/ceiling. I think any sort of postseason berth would be a great win in my book (NIT, for example).

from posts here plus a couple short conversations i've had with friends on the team, i think the guys will be in really good shape. we had an issue last year of guys gassing out at the end of games (understandable given we didn't exactly have many pac-12 level players) so hearing that the conditioning is expected to be NBA-level is great
