Lebron thinks the NCAA might rule that players like him have eligibility remaining (I mean, why not, at this point!). He said that, after a few more years in the NBA, he'd love to experience college basketball and that we'd be on his short list!

That is kind of a contradiction and has been for decades. Anyone who comescin with national attention leaves early unless they fall well short of expectations.

Bird, Wallace, Jorge, Randle? Kevin Johnson?

I guess technically the last who "used up his eligibility at Cal" would be Marcus Lee.

Honestly, if they are nationally mentioned as freshman or sophs, I would consider keeping them through jr season as full eligibility, and that was prior to the portal.
