The Ncaa has denied West Virginia and Cincy players. Not able to find out what their cases were.So-they are announcing decisions recently. Hopefully we hear soon on Tyson. Here is an article re Cincy decisions.

Unable to find out if there is a timeline as to making decisions before the season starts. I guess its a good thing we have heard nothing so far.I was unable to find any approvals of two time transfers. Some people in tbe press must be able to provide a list to provide some clarity, I hope.

with knowlton having zero influence with anybody at the ncca & his handpicked markeisha (who is the dumbest person in the room) obstinately refusing to offer free tixs to all students, what's your take on knowlton's performance as the cal athletic director & also cal's 2023 attendance projections

do u see the program at any time successfully recruiting mcdonalds all americans playing in front of 10,700+ crowds every gameday like they did during cal's monster class?

This is as close to a match for the NCAA's stated reasons for allowing waivers (discrimination against a protected class, mental health) as you will find:
https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/10067705-texas-tech-mens-cbb-hc-mark-adams-suspended-for-racist-comment-toward-player.amp.html

Of course Knowlton probably reads that and thinks "Great coach, he is the victim" and probably puts him on his short list to hire if Madsen ever leaves. Then does zero lobbying for Tyson's waiver.

I just don't understand anything about college sports anymore.
Didn't Jack Plummer play for Purdue, Cal, and Louisville in three consecutive years or did I miss something? If NCAA wanted to do things right the rules would be objective, not subject to approval or denial. Make it uniform and stick to it, otherwise its just a bunch of bs.

Wasn't Jack Plummer a grad transfer though?

You're kind of making my point. It's college sports that has become a professional minor league. At this point what difference should it make if a guy is a grad transfer? See Charlie Moore. Limit all players to either four or five years. Make the rules on how soon they can play for the next school a standard process for all players. No exceptions or "reviews." Cut the crap.

I don't agree with it, but that is what they did. You can transfer once before graduating. Then once more if you graduate. That is the standard rule.
