A lot of work needed on the defensive end for the Bears
We've struggled to defend the 3 for three decades

I'm just following on gamecast, so I don't see the action. What about the other Jalen (Cone)--seems like a very quiet half for him--what is up with that?
Without Tyson it was never going to be.calfanz said:
Glad to have basketball back, but this doesn't look like a 20 win team
They were also the first team to move directly from Division III to Division I a few years ago.ncbears said:
Thomies were 19-14 (9-9) last year in second year in D1 - and lost in their conference championship to Oral Roberts.

The Tommies are playing some good perimeter defense. Cone hasn't had much to work with in terms of space.

Bears look better overall, much better. They haven't played together very long. St. Thomas is a good team. Bigger, stronger, faster, and more length. Looks much better overall. Also like the faster tempo. What @#45SHOW the last 4+ years were. Fardaws is a force. Celestine also looks much better.
Hope Newell is just a hyperextension and nothing serious.
Go Bears!!

My WAY too early take. I'd rather have Pavlovic play point than askew. He's the better defender and pushes the ball

Pavlovic looks GREAT!
Camera angle and in the nosebleed section absolutely sucks.
The broadcast sucks.
Go Bears!!
