Tulane is better than utep. Utep was worse than Montana state and Pacific Larsen is a walk on, right? He seems so composed and well drilled in the fundamentals. Not sure why we are having such trouble passing the ball. People need to move morebto get open.

I am not sure where you got the idea that UTEP was worse than Montana State and Pacific. But it is flat out wrong. Per KenPom UTEP is ranked 136, Pacific 229 and Montana St. 270. (By comparison Cal is ranked 192, down from 146 to start the season). Both Pacific and Montana St. have had some terrible results in other games. UTEP played an extremely aggressive "in your face" defense that really gave us trouble. We should have done much much better handling it, but it should be expected that we would struggle more against that kind of defense, especially without Askew.

Agreed that Tulane ( ranked #93 in KenPom) is better than UTEP, especially offensively. I saw them against Bradley the other night and they are full of individual offensive talent at all positions. Not super tall, and maybe not as tough minded as UTEP, but they will be a handful, no doubt.
