He makes them sometimes, but in general, to me, seems more out of control than not. The time to practice for becoming Steph Curry is during practice, not in the middle of a game.

Maybe we give some of Cone's shots to Brown. Hey Sluggo - good call yet again on Brown.

Madsen showed more emotion tonight than Fox did in 5 (or 5 hundred, at least it felt like it) years here.

I still think we'll be a good team this year, it just takes time with a new staff, new system, and almost entirely new roster. The end of game collapses have been concerning but at least they're fighting every game. Hopefully we can pull this one out and build some momentum going into conference play

Tyson and ESPECIALLY Cone playing selfishly in the final minute, thinking they have to be the one to put the team on their shoulders. The opposite is true. That last ridiculous shot by Cone was unacceptable. I'd bench him for a half for that nonsense. (Not the fullcourt heave, of course. Lol).

Overall, to fight like this an erase a 12 pt deficit with 8minutes to play is impressive. This team has heart. It just needs a little more confidence, and common sense. I think Rod Benson's podcast got Madsen to finally play some zone D and it made a big difference. Lots of missed shots by SDSU though, really bailed us out. We made a lot of boneheaded decisions down the stretch with selfish, ill-advised shots. Aimaq is a stud today. Gotta nail this one down. Go Bears!

So many blown opportunities with those bad shots.

I'll bet that was a designed play for Cone out of the time out….
Coaches see him in practice. Madsen has repeatedly said he has given Cone a green light.
And who exactly do you want to play for Cone?
Robinson? Bowser (who's a deer in the headlights)? The freshman?
He's the best option at this point.

We're going to have to keep getting better and hope to win the pac12 tournament this year if we have any hope of dancing. I do think this is possible. Along the way, we need to practice free throws, Cone needs to be benched when he takes an off-balance shot, and we need to get fully healthy, and stay healthy.

Cone is 2 of 14 from the field. There has to be someone on the bench who is more likely to make a shot.

Name one. Oh… Yes there is. Celestine and Askew. And Kennedy. All play the guard position. But they happen to be in street clothes. Bowser, Robinson and The Serb are only getting minutes because they' have to. They're not in the top 8-9 rotation players when everyone is healthy.

Another close loss. We definitely had some chances. If Cone shoots better we probably win the game
