The refs

I didn't think they were very good in the SDSU game. I thought I saw a tie up between two players under the hoop while their guy clearly had his foot on the baseline but they gave SDSU the ball. Anyone else notice? Wasn't surprised that Madsen got a T. I think he felt we were getting jobbed.

You are correct. The SDSU player had a foot out of bounds on the simultaneous possession, if you touch the ball while out of bounds - other teams ball regardless of the tie up.

Also during the Tulane game, we got jobbed out of a point. In the second half, we have 47, and make a three pointer (announced as a three, referee raises both hands, both feet behind the line). Our score only goes to 49 on the score board. We make another three and score goes to 52. We then make one out of two free throws, goes to 53. And so on. Never corrected. Didn't effect the final outcome but if we make our desperation three, we win instead of tie and OT.

The refs were not the reason we lost all 3 games down there. We went 0-3 because we were not playing defense.

I really wasn't trying to imply that the refs were the reason we lost all 3 games. It was just the final game against SDSU, that seemed like we couldn't catch a break from them. Certainly in all of the games we hurt ourselves, but in the first two they seemed decently officiated. The last one no, which is probably why Madsen got t'd up.
