It makes a HUGE difference when there are actually butts in the seats, and free tickets for the students. Cal Bball has had a horrible product for years, but the AD EXPECTED tickets to be sold and demand to be great. Really? And it took this long for the AD department to realize this and finally be OK with free tickets and maybe creating a home court advantage. Wow. Great minds at work there. Fire every one in the AD leadership for this 'forward' thinking. You guys have no clue. Take your corporate bureaucratic nonsense somewhere else. Be innovative, not pennywise and pound foolish.

That was a total bullcrap charge call on Tyson at the end. The defender was literally moving and sliding in front of him. It was a block all the way. That call changed the game.

I turned off the TV once the ball was inbounded to aimaq. I knew how that story was going to end

Look I think madsen is great, the team has improved but holy Christ his late game management is atrocious

Up 4 with like 30 seconds and we're playing a zone???? A zone????? Are you f'ing kidding me????

And then we inbound it to aimaq?

Remember when Montgomery was coach? Do you remember anyone other than randle taking a late game FT???

Really tough loss and hated the officiating at the end, but loved the energy in the building. Can't even imagine what Haas sounds like when sold-out (thanks to TheFiatLux for posting many videos to show what the environment used to be). Hope they do more free ticket giveaways and/or food promotions. Below is a pic I took- rarely ever see the section to the side behind the basket filled with students, outside of Stanford games.



Also loved to see Cone get hot from 3 and Daws heat up after a cold start.

Yes, some of us were too lazy to turn off the Pac 12 Television Network. What we saw...

+ WSU beats Furd 89-75 at Maples

- Both Kyle Smith and Jerod Haase look like they will not live to see the year 2050. Sad

+ Furd refuses to defend anymore at about the 1:10 mark, because that might indicate heart and balls, two body parts (well, three) which they lack

- Cougs will give us a tough game on Saturday. Their Myles Rice (35 and 8 tonight) is a player... sat out last season while being treated for Hodgkin's Lymphoma; hard to root against him (but I will go to the game and try, nonetheless)

+ same with Furd's #23 Brandon Angel, because wearing eye makeup is cool (I guess)
