can you help solve this atrocious situation

at the game today, the announcer said "welcome to our basketball alums" but said no names

Later they announced a visiting football player and showed him on the center scoreboard

But with ROD BENSON in the Haas, sitting courtside there was no annoucement???!!!

Maybe they didn't notice this 6-10 dude with a Cal basketball jacket and beanie roaming around the court?

How is this even possible?
Can this be fixed?
