Rod Benson said he was going to do color for a game but the game was canceled due to Covid. Pac12 never called him back. Lame.

What a game (especially after the painful loss to UCLA)!

We need to beat both Oregon schools, either Utah or Colorado, and Stanford. That would make us 11-9 in the conference and 15-16 overall. Then if we win 2 games in the tournament but lose the title game, we'd finish 17-17. NIT?

Ah, come on, as long as you are dreaming, dream like you mean it. Win the title game and go to the tourney.

Still a bit concerned how close UW got to tying the game in those final 4 seconds ....

I didn't think it was that close. You obviously don't want to foul there, so it's hard to play defense very tightly. Still, they played him pretty tight and forced him into a wild shot.

and that guard plays downhill and can cut on a dime ... extremely hard to keep in front of him without fouling

it looked like he got the shot off, but it was very close and if the basket was made they would have reviewed the clock

glad we didn't have to suffer through two FT attempts or a clock review, and possibly another OT (with an injured Tyson and no Aimaq)

I'll bet the UW coach points that out to his players.

The last time the UC Berkeley Bears hosted an NIT game, 800 people showed up and the cowardly coach threw the game so he could make his flight.
