Bumped to 11.5. Total lack of respect! lol. But our lack of depth, especially at altitude, is going to be a huge factor. Also the fact that ever. Shot floats an extra inch or two up there, and I guess it all makes sense. Hard to see us winning the 3pt game and not sure how we dominate down low. If we do somehow escape with a win here, winning out is actually reasonable at that point.

Yep, I think the right thing to do if you're Colorado is not risk injury to Williams!

Double digit basketball spreads are such a crapshoot. Not like football, when you can still quantify units of score, i.e. touchdowns, field goals. Hoops, last two minutes can change the final result drastically. Bears could play a solid game and not cover, conversely they could play like sh*t and a Cal bettor may still be rewarded. Now the money line, that's a different story......

Cal is not deep, but Colorado does not play many either. 8 get minutes in conference games and if Williams is out that drops to 7. 3 Colorado players are in the top 5 for minutes played in conference. Simpson their very good PG is the conference leader in minutes played. DaSilva is 3rd and Hadley is 5th.

Colorado is not a great defensive team. They are last in blocked shots and have are last in turnover margin in conference games. They are a good shooting team though. And a great FT shooting team. Both teams are good rebounding teams. I think Cal will need Aimaq to score tonight to win.

Cal has been much better defensively lately and are now taking much better care of the ball. On paper this is the toughest of the 3 remaining games. But closing with 3 on the road is a difficult task.Although the Stanford game is not the same sort of environment the team will face tonight or Saturday in SLC.

The game is winnable but they will need to play very well. A good start would seem to be essential. I do not see Cal overcoming a poor start against this team on the road.

We get an extra day of rest before facing Utah, whereas Utah plays tomorrow, so really a win here and a mountain sweep is feasible. Uphill battle though, figuratively and literally.
