Good recovery by USC for sure. Musselman is a San Diego guy. Has one son at USD (his alma mater). His daughter is 13. Maybe they want a SoCal high school for her instead of Fayetteville, Arkansas?
The implication? SoCal HS education is good....Check the stats.
Implication is the move is as much for his family and life style as basketball. I'm from LA. That is my point.
My bet is he likely will live in PV or Rolling Hills.
It is similar to the debate we sometimes have on this board about the attractiveness of the Cal job. There are a lot of coaches that would rather make $millions and live in the Bay Area than make fewer $millions living in the Palouse, as a recent example.
