Hope they play as well in the second half. Would hate to blow this lead.

We've seen flashes of this during the season, but to see it all put together - the athleticism, the outside shooting, the unselfish passes - it truly brought a tear to my eye. LFG.

They were making all of their threes in that stretch, so I don't know how sustainable that was, but it was a great sequence of strong defense turning into fast-break opportunities on the other end. That should be sustained, hopefully.

Just rolling outta bed, looks like the strong shooting from the previous game continues. Hard to believe Coach's absence made such a difference in the Vandy game, but otherwise things have been on the upswing.

Those were WIDE OPEN threes as part of the offense. You will miss some of them but they were not focuring them at all and playing with Joy.

I did not watch the Vandy game but they are playing blackshere and wilkerson a bunch at the same time and the ball handling looks solid.

Good thing we have depth with Campbell and Omot out

CAL is outrebounding them 20 to 13.

Lee Dort is a f;ing MAN out there. I haven't gotten to say that about a Bear front line player for a LONG time.

Hmmn Vandy game was awful, we were picking up the dribble and making a ton of turnovers which led to a ton of easy Vandy baskets. Here we are getting shots at least so far...The problem is we aren't getting any stops on D.

Well poo. We don't really have an answer for their PG.

Another classic meltdown with a big lead. Happened often last year. Felt it coming when we were up 18 and blew a chance to go to 21. Missouri made adjustments at half, we give it all back immediately. So frustrating. You have to come out playing like you're DOWN 16 when you're up 16. Nope, not us. And now we're playing like crap. Dumb fouls. Letting crowd get back into the game. Madsen has to do better with this. But…Missouri is way more talented. This is so frustrating.

This is a gut check for the team. Yes, you gave away an 18-point lead, but are you going to roll over or find a scorer, play good D, and make a game of it?

We got blitzed

Having the 3 guards (Blacksher, Wilkinson, Stoja) on the floor might be our best offensive lineup, but can we stop them on defense? We seem easily fooled on shot fakes and sure give up a lot of cuts to the basket.

Good on the staff for calling them out though, might help with any 50/50 calls the rest of the way, still lots of time left.

The book is out: if you want to make a big run on Cal, ramp up the ball pressure on our guards. It will keep happening until we can beat it.
