It's been like this all year but it's mostly worked when it's Wilkinson or Stojakovic going downhill.

On the VT jump hook didn't he touch the ball to the court, pick it up, dribble twice, jump hook? That's a dd. He burned his dribble when he touched the ball down on the court.

Those awful jerseys cost us at least three points.

When every player on our team is playing for a new team next year, they can share this experience of not quitting when 22 points down with 15 minutes to go with their new team…and Madsen can share it with his new roster.

There are no moral victories in basketball, and Va Tech is a team that should have been a W, but I'll take these positives away from this heartbreaking buzzer-loser:

- We don't give up, that shows resilience.
- For a minute or two Haas was roaring, so fans don't give up either (except for a few guys on this Forum).
- We can score a lot of points quickly when Andrej gets going and includes a few others with passing.
- We do have the conditioning to play well into the 39th minute (wasn't sure about that considering some other 2nd halves).

Can we get to 14 wins considering the remaining 15 games below? We're 8-8 and need to find 6 more Ws, so I've put down my "must wins" if we're going to get there. Will 14 wins make anyone happy? Probably not, but the bar is set there because it's better than last year's win total.

Gotta admit I was one of those who gave up. Seemed a logical thing to do when you see a half like Cal played. As someone said, no offense or defense. Doesn't leave much else.
But the stats as posted here seem truly bizarre.
19 more field goal attempts.
6 more made free throws.
5 more steals.
11 fewer turnovers.

And lost.
