The only game I got to see in person this season was the Harvard debacle. If someone offered to wager then that both Cal and Harvard would make the Big Dance and win their first round games against UNLV and New Mexico, I would have bet my home and life savings against it. Harvard had just lost its two co-captains to a cheating scandal. And Cal looked to have lost its way with a mediocre season ahead. I am totally proud of both institutions. Shows that academic and athletic success can work together.

Those are my two schools. Banner day indeed.

My loyalties will always be with Cal since it's my undergrad. I am looking forward to Cal beating Harvard in the Championship game.

Amaker does a great job as head coach and their assistant coach, Yanni Hufnagel, is an excellent recruiter and is one of the hottest young coaches in the business.
