and, unfortunately, 5 TOs, but a great game overall. A lot of really nice passes on the assists . . .

still better than two to one assists to turnover ratio!

On the postgame show Monty said a number of the TO's were not Justin's fault.

Games like this always have more turnovers from both teams. Still a great game

Cobbs just carved them up. He played like a cool veteran tonight

on the other hand, there were a lot of other unforced turnovers at one point.

between the unforced turnovers, foul trouble, bad officiating, and injured players, and on the road, it would be perfectly explainable that we lose this game.

But this team did not allow that to happen

Cobbs has really impressed me this year, and he continues to come up big in big moments. It's amazing how much confidence I have in him when things get tight. Seems like the game has really slowed down for him and he's just toying w/ guys, setting them up, and making a play.

EVERY single starter played well today.

Mathews was Jordan, and I don't mean his first name. Cobbs did everything. Solomon continues to dominate in the paint. Wallace had a few too many TO's, but produced everywhere else. Kravish had some nice blocks.

Now Cobbs' two-game totals this week: 40 pts, 20 asts, 11 rebs. P-12 POW?

Really like how he took control in the 2nd half.

Very possible candidate. Would get my vote for doing it on the road against tough opponents. That said, I assume some zona guy.

I thought Oregon State got some bad calls against them this game, not Cal

Lol, so true.

But we do have like 3 of the last 5 POYs or something like that. Pretty good for a coach who can't recruit!

I agree, those charge calls were bs.

Did you see the one where Solo fouled out? Nelson runs into the back of his own player, comes down with the ball (traveling), falls down, and they call solo for the foul?

Sure, but overall it seemed like a) too many fouls and b) we got the benefit of the doubt more often than OSU.

It's the pac12. We don't expect good or consistent officiating. We know from experience they don't favor the home team!

Amazing game from Cobbs, who did not appear to sit for a minute in the second half.

I think he has it locked up unless some one scores 50 tomorrow. 20 assists in two games is a big number.

He's our best PG since Kidd. He probably won't be a conference player of the year like Jerome Randle but I think he's a better player.

There are no perfect games. These are college players and it was a road game. The officiating in this game was very good for Cal. while I think most of the charging fouls on OSU were correct you often do not see them called as a visiting team.

I think the emergence of Behrens on this trip is very encouraging. He played well in his limited minutes. Kravish and Soloman are forced to play to many minutes as is Cobbs. Cobbs is the key. He scores, distributes and leads. Monty will need to get him some reduced minutes whenever possible.
