They just played. Which coach will be more successful at plotting an approach to victory?

I would pick Montgomery. But the problem is that the players have to implement his approach to victory; and if the shots aren't going down, well .....

Monty for sure, but the players have to execute and play smart for it to work.

Monty by a mile - but this really does come down to outside shooting. Who will be able to do it.

Boyle is no slouch. I have been really impressed with his recruiting, gameday Xs and Os, and player attitude over the past few seasons. He, like Monty, gives a pretty good interview. I know the question is about this game, but I have a feeling that Colorado may be, as a program, on a slightly steeper upward trend than Cal at this time.

My vote: Monty for today.

Monty is a master at Xs and Os. I am always impressed with how hard CU plays, esp. on the glass. Also, 2 years ago, I would never have thought that Josh Scott would be this kind of player. He looked like a stiff giving Roberson some minutes.

I don't know about Boyle, but for any Montgoemry strategy to be successful, the players will need to buy in, take it to heart, and sustain that commitment all the way through to the end of the game.

The players need to keep their heads in the game.
