One of my favorite Bears. Back when they had those mostly inaudible and frequently awkward player interviews on the video screens, MSF gave the only answer that made me laugh out loud.

Still think he would be a good big man coach and a charismatic leader, but nice to see him still playing (got past those foot issues).

That one was good, but not the only one that's made me laugh. At the risk of turning this into a flame thread, I think the most humorous I ever heard came at a football game during the Riley vs Longshore turmoil. The question was "what's something fans would be surprised to learn about you" or something like that. Longshore's answer included the gem "I'm very good at checkers."

Nice to hear he is still playing and that he graduated

He would have been a good fit for this team, with interior bulk, a post game, and those strong outlet passes.
I liked him, glad to hear he's doing well.

Markuri was one of my fav players

I remember everyone in the western hemisphere knew he was going to back you down in the post, and hit that hook shot, but you still couldn't stop him

Not sure I've ever seen someone with a shot that was so automatic

Certainly was a tough guy

But what I remember him for was his leadership

I've always felt he would make a great Cal coach some day
