This program is in a world of hurt not just for next season but probably for years to come, especially if Mack leaves for Cal and takes his recruiting class with him. Forget making the NCAA Tourney, having a winning record will be a challenge in the forseeable future if that comes to pass!

Haven't they already signed LOIs though? Not that easy to just pick up and go.

That's silly. Their class gets a high grade because of its volume (5 signees), but it isn't exactly a "monster class." Their highest rated recruit, Bluiett, was a former UCLA commit that reneged when they brought in Isaac Hamilton and I was not very impressed by his highlight film (looked like a below average athlete). I doubt all those guys would follow Mack to Cal anyways. It isn't even clear if any of those guys would qualify academically for Cal.

Was our 5signee monster class ranked higher? ESPN rated it lower.

With all due respect to Shocky, the 2013 class was not a "monster class". But I can see everyone of those guys having an impact before they leave (if they don't transfer first).

So you're saying it wasn't Sully:

But more Mike Wazowski?

Sorry, I have kids. Watched Monsters U. for like a week straight once.

He started the thread with hopes of bird, lee, Gordon, and I don't know who else. THAT would have been a monster class. But he stuck with that label to keep spirits up, and who can blame him. The amt of time alone he's put into the effort of improving our recruiting outlook is tremendously commendable! And consider the fact that he's continually thrown in positivity to it, despite him surely seeing the same shortcomings that we have seen, to say nothing of money spent! Anyone who give Shocky a hard time is a schmuck! (Not that you were, tsub.)

Not to mention financial support for both the program and fans.
