Oskidunker, you've easily been around long enough to know that you're not allowed to link stories, tweets or posts from Cal scout or rivals. Don't do it.

I'm not sure what to make of this. Artis is ineligible for competition next season. Does this signify that they are unsure about landing a 2015 PG? Also, I assume there are groups on campus that will raise their eyebrows if Martin was to take him. After the whole episode up at Oregon, I wouldn't touch Artis with a 10-foot pole.

I certainly hope that Coach is not evaluating any opportunity based on the public record. It is clear that all is not right in Artisville, but to assume the public record reflects the facts necessary to make a measured decision based on the risks would certainly result in lost opportunities. At this point Artis doesn't have a lot of leverage no matter his talent. Another off the court issue and he is likely done in college. Martin can pretty much call the shots on the terms of this deal. This could be a simple build team depth play.

I can't believe Martin's meeting with Artis..wouldn't have the pre-approval of Sandy, knowing this would be a hot topic!

We surely have an amazing collection of judges who certainly don't care about any standard of evidence.

Well, lets see.
1. He was suspended for nine games for selling basketball equipment.
2. He was kicked off the team for his role in an alleged assault that occurred both at a previous location and at his apartment.

Regarding either Artis or Martin...
Go Bears!

There's a big difference between listening to a recruit's interest in your program vs. pursuing him.

Personally, I doubt anything comes of this.

Still amazes me that Tennessee and Auburn would both willingly bring in a coach like Pearl AFTER he'd been convicted of lying to the NCAA. Yikes.

Speaking to Artis can't hurt Cuonzo's attempts to strengthen relationships with the Soldiers, Salesian, and Finlay Prep.
