so is this guy worth an offer? He scored 25 and 30 pts against us. The 30 pt performance came after Brown and Martin mentioned him by name after the first game. His listed offers include St Mary's, LSU, and WSU. He is a 6-2 SG.

You can NEVER have too many great shooters !! At the end of the day, games are always decided by outscoring the opponent.
Guys who are great shooters stretch the defense and create space or opportunities for teammates. HELL YES, we should offer !!

Tough one. Clearly the guy is a player, his #'s beyond scoring are quite good as well. However, he's 6'1" SG whose unlikely to fit Cuonzo's defensive first scheme.
I suspect others have been on him far longer than we have as well. He's 2016 and we have our SG in Jolly and our SF in Frayer. We want a PG and perhaps a big. Not sure where he fits

Limit of 13 scholarship is a real problem. This year we have at least two players (Chauca and Roger) on the roster that, knowing what we know now, we wouldn't give a scholarship to. Therefore, the staff probably will be very careful with scholarships.
I would think their strategy will be holding off until Spring because:
. If Rabb, Brown (and maybe Bird) have a great year and leave early for NBA, most likely Cal has had a great year and can go after big-time recruits to replace them.
. If Rabb, Brown and Bird don't have such a great year, they probably stay one more year which means we are already maxed out in our scholarships (and maybe have to scramble to come up with room for both Jolly and Fryer) because we have only one senior (Wallace) on the scholarship roster.
Go Bears!

Agree with your points; however, the danger is, of course, that big-time targets sign in November.

News flash: there is no IF when it comes to Brown and NBA.

It may not be a big talent question...but more of his wanting two years of the college experience.

Or $10 million from the NBA experience?

Based on this scouting report from the article, I'm not sure he fits given the number of 2016 schollies available...
Vasiljevic is a combo guard who is built like an Aussie Rules Football player. He has average quickness and athleticism and is a streak shooter but relies heavily on his outstanding screen-and-roll acumen. In that regard, and because he is an intense competitor, he reminds me of a smaller Matthew Dellavedova. He’s a solid role player at the highest level or, potentially, a mid-major star.
