He gives a number of good reasons why he chose Miami over Stamford and the other schools. This is very helpful to all the bypassed staffs in terms of learning how to focus on making a better recruitment presentation.

Happy it's not a PAC12 school. Since the post from Miami stated he would be able to also get connections with a Florida pro team, we should have cited the World Champion Warriors were minutes away and, if legal, used Kerr and/or Curry to support Cal. Look forward to see his career at Miami.

"Several" would describe the number of Australians at St. Marys. Across the NCAA, at any time there are 50-100 Australians playing men's college ball. The number of women, while lower, is not dissimilar.

Well before Andrew Gaze and Luc Longley, this guy was pretty good.

If he is top pick in the draft, Ben Simmons won't be the first Australian to have that honor...see, Bogut, A. (2005).

As an aside, I watched Ben Simmon's father (Dave), and Dante Exum's father (Cecil) both play in the Australian NBL. Interesting to see their progeny coming back with the correct accent!
