Until they hit the outside shot the other teams will plug the middle.

What is our offense? Lots of standing around. Jaylen passes and stays put, like others. Not utilizing their abilities.

i got that we need a PG, but I think we need a 4 who can defend/rebound even more

Wish we had an actual coach instead of just a recruiter. This team is awful. What the hell do they work on in practice? Once we lose today we should fire Cuonzo and hire someone who actually gets some results.

Can someone explain something to me?

I watch other college games and consistently see teams play zone defense (which is fine). I see the other team possession after possession slowly move the ball up court which allows the zone team to set up their zone defense .... Why?? Isn't it better to beat a team up the court or at least get it up quickly before they can get somewhat set and hopefully catch them not ready?

Syracuse gets to set up their defense every time for example and everyone lets them ... If you don't have the athletes or depth to hurry, I guess that makes sense

This season has really shown Cuonzo to not be a good Xs and Os guy. Sucks but true.

Funny the commentators were just all over how well respected he is and seen as an 'up and comer' in the college coaching ranks.

The whole story yet to be told, mixed returns so far imo.

Sam gets fouled on a three and no call
Mathews gets bowled over on a three and no call.

And it isn't on Martin that Rabb picked up two DUMB fouls.

+1. part of it is Sam and Moute pulling the trigger. They gotta have some killer instincts.

Moute has been the unsung hero with his D on Adams.

I'll be real, Wallace's stat line looks "good", but he drives me nuts. 12 shot attempts this half for our PG.

What drives me nuts is 1 of 6 from free throw line and 4 of those are from our PG. I can excuse Cam's o-2 but Wallace has GOT to figure out a routine that locks him in on his free throws or it is going to be ANOTHER long year.

Ty's never been a good FT shooter. The bigger issue is that he's freezing his team out with his shoot-first mentality.

Not sure I agree with this. When rabb is on the bench with 2 fouls and he has Moute in for one of the wings there are not alot of options out there. I WOULD like to see Rooks more involved but have no problem with Wallace taking shots when the bench is getting minutes. I would totally agree that when the STARTERS are on the floor Wallace needs to facilitate.
