He was 8-8 with the COD.

I think the cast of characters behind the curtain tonight were more tailored for the Furds, not that there is anything wrong with that.

I imagine Ty thinking, "Com'n you guys that sh*t doesn't work."

You mean the gay unicorns (not that there's anything wrong with that)?

Actually after a couple of them, they seemed to be the same kind of thing and nothing clever or truly distracting. It actually may help someone be more focused.

Oskie hasn't seen that much doinking since his last Furry Convention in Des Moines.

I think you can order it on the ASU Bookstore website. It only takes Discover tho.

Maybe times have changed, but if that were me I'd need to take a long hot shower afterwards and still have a hard time confidently walking through campus on Monday.

Frankly I thought the most distracting part of a 15-16 ASU team's fan base playing Gay Cirque de Soleil was for the TV viewer who had to watch in horror the split screen ESPN continued to lay out.

I honestly don't get the curtain of distraction.

Get a stripper pole. Put a couple asu cheerleaders on it. Poof. Done.

Fair point, but by now it is probably more for the entertainment value of the fans than altering player behavior negatively.
Something to look forward to at games, I'm sure it's fun - so long as they remain creative with what they bring out. As we saw with the repeated horseheads, it's getting to be a stale act.

I was surprised espn gives them so much air
split screen on every attempt?

I was more annoyed than surprised. Just as when the networks go to split screen to interview a coach who says nothing that is as important as what is happening on the court.

This is clearly appealing to the fans who care the least about the actual game. I guess their calculations show the networks that this is good for roping in the broadest audience.

If there were an NCAA bracket for douchiness, ASU would be a number one seed. Oh and that's the whitest student body I've ever seen.

If you were ASU, you'd be thinking up gimmicks to excite the fan base, too.

It's lame. I hope it goes away but more likely they change the name to "The Curtain of Distraction, brought to you by Under Armor!" and other schools start doing it, too.

To be fair, it was Spring Break. Yes, it's for the fans and they've done some interesting ones. Tough to come up with new material for every FT of every game. I like it - very College Athletics, keeps things fun. My wife enjoyed the split-screen - the game itself was ugly.

Yep, KoreAmBear, we need the COD for Ty. When Roxie was saying that the COD didn't affect Ty, my wife said what I was thinking, "Sure it is affecting him. It is HELPING him!"

The guy comes into the game with a 62.5 FT%, and he doesn't miss? Give me that COD for Ty EVERY time!

I think it's reverse psychology that is working there. And it also proves that FTs are a mental thing.

I saw this. That was perhaps the craziest thing I've seen thus far this season.
