Uniforms / TV Angle / TV HD

1. It boggles my mind that they still have yellow numbers on a white jersey. You literally cannot see the #'s on tv at all. In person it's a little better and fortunately I think I usually know who the players are, but man if I was a visiting fan or broadcaster I'd be so annoyed.

2. Other than the complaint above, I like the uniforms and the subtle changes they have added.

3. Since they got rid of the press above the student section, is there any update or plan on lowering the camera angle like they did for that one game last year? I will go to most games, but when I have to stay home, I still get so annoyed by the high angle. The lower angle is a tad too low, but it's better than the main angle.

4. I was shocked to see (hadn't noticed before) that XFinity has now put the national feed in HD and the Bay Area feed is in SD. So last night the Cal game was only in SD live. What a _____ decision that is. I think the next few games will be on the national feed, but going forward, what about all of those soccer and volleyball and other events that are on the local feed....are we basically SOL for seeing them in HD?
Really frustrating, and any insight is appreciated.

Go Bears.

It's only 2016, why would you expect the game to be in HD? What do you think Larry's running here, a competent organization?

Seriously though, it appears some people got the game in HD on P12 Bay Area, but that such availability was very geographically and carrier dependent. Comcast in the Bay Area did not and does not provide it anymore (at the urging of Scott and the other idiot P12 execs) as you note, so yes, we're SOL unless we switch--assuming a viable alternative is available in your area. Only live options are to stream or watch on TV in SD.

I was told a couple of weeks ago that they would be using the closer camera location, obviously, the person providing me this information was clueless although he works for the department. The game is almost unwatchable with the vertigo/Mars camera angle

there were the two cameras at the top center and top corner as before. i'm guessing these are the main cameras.

HOWEVER there were also two cameras much lower. one was center court right above the student wall, in the front row of the chair backs where the media used to be. One was at that same lower height but on a corner. I'm guessing they used those cameras to show different angles of replays, etc.

watch closely next broadcast if you can see the shots from the lower cameras
