We as Cal fans are fortunate to have players like Ivan play for the team. (not just Ivan) He sees and speaks many years older than his age. And yes, part of Ivan's decision to choose Cal was he would add his name to local HS stars playing on Cal's basketball team. Phil Chenier, Ansley Truitt, Charles Johnson, Gene Ransom, Mark McNamera (transfer from Santa Clara) Jason Kidd, Leon Powe, and Jabari Bird...

I fully expect Ivan to get his degree from Cal even though he may leave on to the NBA after the season is over.
